Your export stays local

The Letterboxd ZIP, film titles, ratings, reviews, tags and dates are parsed in your browser. They are not uploaded to a FilmFold content database.

Aggregate product measurement

We may count a short allowlist of actions: page view, sample opened, archive loaded, search used, output downloaded and client error. Measurement uses a random per-tab session identifier and excludes filenames, film data, reviews, tags, dates, search queries and account identity.

Infrastructure logs

The hosting provider may process standard security and delivery logs, including IP-derived network information, under its own retention practices.

Safety

Keep the original ZIP. Review integrity warnings before importing, deleting or migrating any account data.
